JAIN PREMIER LEAGUE RULES
|
- Matches will be 8 over’s
- Each Team will get 10 players
- Max 10 player can Play in Match
- Each Player Should Play All matches Compulsory
- Double Tennis Ball Will be Used in Match
- 2 over Max Limit for 2 Player. Hence, Remaining 4 Over’s should be bowled by Respective Players.
- If any player is not available to play the match then reserve player will be allotted. Team should compulsory play with 10 players.
- Two Players fielding position will be behind the wickets compulsory.
- There will be 3yard In Ground, 1run Yard (Declared as 1run), 2run Yard (Declared as 2run ) & 4run Yard.(Given as 4run & if Ball directly hits the 15*20 flex given as SIX)
- There will be Flex of 15*20 on Boundary Lane. IF BALL HITS THE FLEX IT WILL BE GIVEN AS SIX.
- There will be Bowler Box.Size :- FRONT OF STUMPS 3FT , LEFT & RIGHT SIDE OF STUMPS 2.5FT , BACK SIDE OF STUMPS 1FT.(hence, Bowler has to Bowl from that Particular Box , He Can Take a Step to Bowl. If bowler step on the line or outside of box then it will be called as NO Ball )
- NO BALL will be declared if the Bowler accidently touches the Stumps at Bowling End.
- If ball is leg bye, and batsman or non striker is stumped out / run-out it’ll be declared out, but there will be no run for overthrow in this case.
- If run is declared in overthrow but batsman & non-striker crosses, both the runs (Which they ran & overthrow run) will be counted.
- “When a batter is out caught, the new batter will come in at the end the striker was, regardless of whether the batters crossed prior to the catch being taken,”
- Before the bowler starts his action, if the non striker batsman leaves the crease in order to start the run, the bowler can dislodge the bails and it is considered as run-out.
- There Will be FREE HIT for EVERY TYPE OF NO BALL.(Batsmen Can be given out if gets OUT as Run Out. Stumping will be Not Valid in FREEHIT BALL)
- NO BALL for SPEED BALL.(Final call will be of ON FIELD UMPIRE)
- Each over bowler can bowl one ball above shoulder. (One warning call will be given to bowler.)
- 2 points will be allotted for Each Win. In Case of Match is TIE each Team will be allotted 1 Point Each. In Eliminators, Semi Final & Final there will be SUPER OVER
- Semi Final 1 will be played between top team of Each group (No 1 of A group & No 1 of B group)
- Winner of Semi final 1 will Directly Entering to Final & losing team Will get one more Chance in Semi Final 2)
- Eliminator 1 will be Played between A 2nd vs B 3rd
- Eliminator 2 will be Played between B 2nd vs A 3rd
- Qualifier will be played between Eliminator 1 winner vs Eliminator 2 winner.
- Semifinal 2 will played between Semifinal 1 Looser Vs Qualifier Winner.
- IF Points are Same, Teams Will beAdvance By NET RUNRATE basis.
- 1st over of Match Will be Bowling Team Power Play Compulsory, Therefore Any Over From the rest can be taken as POWERPLAY by Batting Team Before 6th over (2nd to 6th ) of the Match. Hence all the Player will Field Inside of 1st& 2nd yard & only 1 Player can Field in 4th Yard During Power play. If more than 1 Player found In 4th Yard. It will be given as NO BALL.(During PP).
- Max 3 player can field in 4th yard during normal over’s
- Batsmen canbe given out if Ball Directly Goes out of the Ground from 2ND& 4th yard. (if goes out of 1st yard it will be Considered as 1run Declare
- Substitute call will be by ONFIELD UMPIRE.
- One Runner Helper will Given to Each Team in Every Match. (According to Circumstances) Final call will of ON FIELD UMPIRE. If same players ask for runner in next match then no Runner will be given to Particular player.
- If any Player is Not Available/Fit to Play in Match. One Extra Reserve Player Will be Given to That Team.
- No run will be counted on any types of by’s .but if batsmen gets out in Run out he will given out.
- Change of Wicket-Keeper , Should be Notified by Captain to UMPIRE , else Will be Called As NO BALL
- Same Openers Will Not be Allowed in Next Match to Start the Inning again.
- Any Comments Passed by Fielders During Bowling will be given as No Ball ( Same applies for Non Striker End Batsmen )
- Player Should be In Proper Outfit in Match (Shorts / 3/4th / will be Not Allowed). Shoes & JPL T-shirt are Compulsory
- Any Argument of Field ,Umpire Can Go to Committee ,Hence Committee Decision Will be Final Decision
- JPL will not be Responsible for Any Injury, Accident on Filed; Hence Player will play on His Responsibility.
- If Batsmen Directly Hits the Ball to Poll (located in Saraswati Ground ) it will be Called As DEAD BALL.(No Extra Run or Extra Ball Will be Counted)
- It Would Be Mandatory for the Teams to be Present 30 minutes prior the Matches Along With the FINAL list of Players.
- Any misbehavior will not be tolerated;strict action will be taken on the Spot against Team & Player by Committee Members.
- OBJECTIVE OF THIS TOURNAMENT IS COMPLETELY FOR GATHERING & ENTERTAINMANT OF OUR COMMUNITY.IT IS OUR RESPONSIBLIE TO COMPETE IN A SPORTING WAY.
